It's an interesting mix for the album. It sounds good, but different. The mastering might be a little off though; something is off, but it's hard to pinpoint. I'm thinking it has something to do with the treble, but it's hard to pinpoint. Something is off. But, one can look past that if the music is good. I'm a Boldy James fan, so I like it, but something is off with the mixing.
I wonder if the best days of his production are behind him and he's hit that phase we've seen many great producers such as RZA for example have gone through where the beats just aren't up to par anymore.
