Just started peeping this show.
Season 2 was a 31% improvement over s1 on metacritic
I feel like S1 was just as legit, but people didn't know what to expect from it, so times where it slowed down and got dark some people might have thought it was just bad.
But by S2 people understood the overall tone and goal it was aiming for so they rated it higher.

Loved this ep. Maybe my fav of the season.
It took me a minute to figure it wasn't Aisha Tyler playing Sextina this time, though.
Probably woulda been a tiny bit better if it was.

Just finished watching this season last night and 
This animated show explores serious topics like depression, friendship, sadness, drug abuse, grief, much better than a lot of "serious shows" and does it all while still being really funny.
The setup and payoff of the spaghetti strainers at Mr. Peanut Butter's house
Sara Lynn calling Diane an Asian Daria
The Princess Caroline/Bojack ep where she is desperately trying to remain his agent
The evolution of Todd's car business as a safe space for women to being a stripper whale cab service
The drug bender episode with Bojack and Sara Lynn, that final shot in the planetarium
. Talk about a killer ending.
Definitely a top 10 show for me this year.
