Use Robinhood. No commission fees on the app. Only downside is that it lags a bit at times, and IPO's are impossible to get when the market opens other than that, its legitIs TDAmeritrade a good start for a beginner?
How much should I invest and what are some good investments?
Good luck. If it breaks below that $164-166 area I'd probably get a little nervous personallyBABA looking like a good area to pick up more shares
EDIT: Doubled my position at 170.50. Base cost now around 130 a share.

I dont know how short term youre trading but can you tell me why BABA is worth so much more than JD.com ? When JD's revenues are like twice of BABAs?
I really havent delved into it but JD seems undervalued.
BABA is profitable, has been beating earnings expectations and has a charismatic founder
JD.com doesn't appear to have any of that from quick glance. Technical indicators look ready to turn on both the daily and weekly for JD.com though so this one just got added to my watch list
Speculatively bought in at $38.17. About time one of those low-information trades worked out in my favorwhats going on with Overstock? So, its a discount online retailed and also a cryptocurrency company? Shares are doing well recently.
Hype job?
