I am thinking about a long term short. When I look at their programming 10 bucks a month does not quantify keeping a membership. I mean they have a couple good exclusive shows, but they have crappy movies.

I really haven't been impressed with their selection lately. Cant really find anything to watch or I've already watched it.

Problem with them is it costs a ton of money to buy the rights to these shoes/movies so if the user base isn't growing fast enough days like monday/tuesday happen to their stock.

Well the earnings are kicking off this week, just about everyone is going to report the next few days.

Expectations are earnings to be down a little bit.

A lot of uncertainty. If you get a lot of disappointments you'll see the market pull back (obviously).

I'm waiting for all the companies to bytch about Brexit like they were bytching about currencies last year.

Microsoft reported a good quarter though.

How can you get disappointing earnings when they are always revised down at the last minute to beat by a cent or 2 on non-GAAP:scust:

I lightweight agree with you but they are being cheap. You can't keep your customer base happy with lackluster movies and rising cost. If they explained they were negotiating deals or had deals done and then raised the price it would make sense. This can not go on forever they will either have to adapt or continue to lose customers. They profited sending DVD's and had a much better online selection 5-7 years ago so they can't afford it when they have cut costs with no longer shipping dvd for the most part?

Opportunities like this are why I love options. Sometimes you can see a company going in the wrong direction long before the ship starts to sink and you can profit off of it!

I am still short on Sears long term BTW, and just cancelled Netflix I love my android box I can get what I want whenever I want it!
