why you say that?
their balance sheet is huge and they have zero debt with ample cash :yeshrug:. shyt nevermind debt...they have zero liabilities damn near when you compare it to the size of its assets

gross margin is like 85% (which is normal for web/mobile companies) but the operating margin is above 50%. they havent even really monetized instagram, whatsapp and all that shyt yet either. then they got the virtual reality leadership potential.

iunno. shyt is just a rocket. Barring any crazy market shakeup its just gonna keep going up. I could only imagine if they acquired Shopify or some shyt and got into ecommerce

Chesapeake bounced back tremendously. Whomever purchased over 1000 of its stock is making a killing in returns. :whew: I had wish I could purchase that amount of shares. :francis: Unfortunately, I'll just have to settle for $46.00 in return.:yeshrug::wow:

strong buy longterm?
While i said its gonna go up and up.........its gone up so much so i dunno. I mean it's already a $300B company. If you're gonna buy you have to ask yourself, this company already surpassed Amazon... can this company really surpass Microsoft, Google and Apple next?

Because it doesn't have to produce hardware it's operating margins are too good so shyt why not :manny:. But the way I see it...at these margins it would probably have to quadruple its revenue to justify its current valuation in the next five to ten years. Producing the Oculus Rift for the mainstream will affect its margins though and bring them down. If it's market cap wasnt already so high and its ratios (enterprise value to sales, P/E etc.) it would be a good addition to any portfolio going purely off the quality of the companies financials. But it is probably overvalued. I mean i know they're cooking...but that EV/EBITDA ratio is scary high. Then again it has no debt anyways so that's probably irrelevant though. I'm talking in circles now.

Overall, it's one of those companies I'd be scared to short because its such a great company financially, but i wouldnt go long because I'm not sure how much more it can go up. I need to see what the analysts' 5 year EPS/Sales projections are that give it its 300B valuation and see how realistic they are. Cant make a buy or sell decision until i see that

strong buy longterm?

In my mind, it is. Think about how many people you know use facebook every day, damn near all day.

No product or platform in the world has that type of reach. Plus like homie said, financially it's a very strong company.

I bought in two years ago at $68. Best investment I've made in my life so far.

No brainer that it rises steadily over the next few years, IMO. Think about how many times you checked your Facebook today... not to mention an entire generation of young people who live on it. And a growing user base world wide

Kuroda da Gawd :wow:

this is what i like about Kuroda/BOJ... these nikkas are not afraid to intervene. they are not afraid to manipulate xxx/Jpy pairs and dump millions of yen into them. this is great because it creates volatility and trending environments for me.

Yellen literally comes through every other week and talks the US Dollar into a range... she'll say some dovish shyt and keep kicking the can further for the next 2-3 months... turning Eur/Usd and Gbp/Usd into a chop. personally im over it.

going long on Usd/Jpy was a good trade to take ... but BOJ Monetary Policy Statement is an instant account killer... it's on par with opening a position right before FOMC Meeting Minutes, basically.
