Analysts are downgrading a lot of oil stocks. Good sign to buy.

vix had to hit lows right?

edit: not sure why i talk to myself in this thread....:heh:

volatility of vix (VVIX) is at 85. so about the lowest it's been in months. vix calls (or VXX) isn't a bad trade here and VXX almost looks like a triple bottom.

edit 2:
understand the futures board in vix if you're going to buy VXX.

^^^^ actually the VIX board is in a huge contango. they're paying a lot to roll those VXX contracts over. the VXX security is almost designed to go down in price. it's hard to catch it going up.

vix cash is 14

and april vix is 17.

Analysts ain't shyt

:ld:

I agree. I do. And a small increase in oil prices has done wonders for a lot of stocks. But I just don't see a sustained turnaround. Maybe I'm wrong, but i think things are going to have to go very bad with Iran and we need a major producer bankrupting (or other geopolitical bullshyt) for a spike in oil.

And I'm not saying that's out of the question, I just don't know where the hell it's going. Like I said up there, I don't think vix can hit any lower then 14. I'm probably early and it goes to 12 or some shyt...but that's the absolute floor. I think that's a much safer bet....in the short term.

I did well with EPE and still holding half of what I originally purchased.

Only thing I am in now is a short on KORS. I need to get into something again soon.

Paypal is great

Square... I got in at 8.40 and we are at 13.20 premarket today...
I personally use paypal. But they are trying to be a bank, but not a bank, and I get caught up in fees and transfer issues all the time. Monthly.

Square is the move and they invest in small businesses.

The Arsenal
another one of my robinhood plays.

GBSN for the win for me today. i bought like 3000 shares when it was at 0.14 most of last week and even up until yesterday. it would go up to $0.16 and then drop again, i was beginning to wonder if anything would happen with it, but at that level of investment i'll hold and just wait for it to pop. well that motherfukker hit over $0.30 this morning and i got my ass out. spent around $420 and now i'm cashing out at $900. a nice little earner to add to my robinhood $20k journey. should be there by the end of the year really. i wish i had bought more now, but i'm generally quite risk averse.
