Nailed it. Even with this happening right under our nose I still fell for it yesterday.

Thankfully I’m fairly disciplined and just trade with fun money. Otherwise I’d be a big bag holder

Major kudos - If you don't mind sharing, what avenue had the highest positive impact your ability to build your wealth?

High income job? Stock Trading/Knowledge? Real estate? Crypto? Inheritance? Small Business?

Any additional wealth building recommedations to share?

My wife is a physician, so I’ve always had more financial flexibility than most. But we lived well below our means for years. I didn’t spend a dime for nearly a decade. Every dollar I made went straight into investing in crypto and growth stock such as TSLA.

I drove an Elantra until it hit 250,000 miles while we could’ve easily bought an S-Class. We lived in a frugal apartment for 10 years even though we could afford a house. We really followed the spirit of Dave Ramsey’s advice—at least when it came to saving and living below our means. (Not so much his investing strategies.) our first goal was to pay off our 500k student loans which we did in 5 years. Till this day, getting rid of that student loan was our greatest achievement. i know her colleagues who still pay student loans.

Looking back, I got lucky. I married someone who’s a total workaholic and never cared about spending her doctor salary. My small business thrived for about 3–4 years, but COVID hit it hard, so I walked away and shifted fully into investing. Now i'm 100% day trader.

i really am a lucky ass nikka—most people don’t have the option to step away and take that kind of risk. I did. And I took it.
