anyone still trying to time the market is going to stress themselves out. just buy in increments. the goal isn't to time the bottom but buy a great business at a good valuation.
Yea I'm not even paying attention to this shyt...

I don't need to look at it to know my portfolio is down like 30%... :francis:

Just sitting back and waiting for the bottom...Try to buy as close as possible...

Yall still tryna time the market? Just buy in chunks
march 2020, i made the mistake of trying to find the exact bottom. then when it started getting green again, i hesitated, waiting for more red, and i missed out

this time, i started buying on thursday, and im buying in chunks on the way down. a year from now, i wont give a fukk if i timed the exact bottom or not :yeshrug: it's officially a fire sale right now

this is not financial advice

As most here, my portfolio is for my retirement, at least 20-30 years in the future. I am allocating some savings for buying opportunities. Since my main position is a world wide ETF and I am still green on that I am not stressing at all.

I have a Roth, an IRA, a RAP, and a 401K for retirement. My taxable portfolios are just for me to have assets and grow them. It's just what I do with my extra disposable income. I may and likely will use it in retirement but it's not specifically for that purpose.

I'm in Europe so things are arranged differently here. But my point was mainly that the invested money is disposable income for the long term. I am far from knowledgeable enough to use stocks as a short term come up, I'd most likely lose everything :francis:

My Fidelity is back to poverty status. Was nice to have it over $100K while it lasted.

I'm thinking of dropping the bag on Nvidia Monday/Tuesday. Out of all tech companies,I think it might be worth the gamble. Just trying to flip some money
