i usually don't hold for more than 2 weeks. often times, i get out in just few days after a nice pop. TSLA is the one most likely i will hold longer. most of them are green already and some of them i already scaled out. I scale after 30-50% gain. i cut losers when it goes -30%. P&L for nov.

CHWY is a 50/50 gamble tomorrow. It’s already showing some upward movement, which makes me a bit cautious. If CHWY delivers a strong earnings, there’s potential for it to rally to $50. I picked up 30 contracts of the 1/17 $40 calls at $1.09 each. If CHWY hits $40 that's a good 3x.

On the flip side, if CHWY disappoints and drops below $30, I’ll likely lose 70-80% instantly.

Earnings plays are always a gamble. As long as you're aware of the risks, hitting just one out of three can still lead to significant gains.

anyway AAPL is ready. i see $250 soon. when there's nothing to play, just buy the AAPL dip.

I banked with cryptos during covid, but sold them all and bought a house.

I just buy MSTR, MSTU, and MARA calls now.

Look for the ones that's relatively cheap that has a volume. If I were to get in I would hop in on DOGE when it dips below .40 and have a mental s/l. Hold till inauguration.

On Wednesday, Nike Inc. (NYSE:NKE) shares experienced a downturn, trading lower in sympathy with Foot Locker Inc. (NYSE:NYSE:FL), following the latter's announcement of reduced full-year sales and profit forecasts. Foot Locker's decision to revise its outlook is a consequence of increased discounting and a general pullback in consumer spending, particularly as the critical holiday season approaches.

Foot Locker reported that U.S. shoppers exhibited frugality in the last quarter, actively seeking out the most advantageous deals. This behavior has impacted the retailer's performance and its ongoing efforts to stage a business revival. CEO Mary Dillon remarked on the consumer's selective and savvy shopping habits, which have led to a more promotional landscape and prompted the company to adopt a conservative stance in its guidance.

Dec. 4, 2024Updated 9:42 a.m. ET

The chief executive of UnitedHealthcare, one of the nation’s largest health insurers, was fatally shot in the chest in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday morning, according to a police report and two people familiar with the matter.

The report said that the executive, Brian Thompson, 50, was shot just after 6:45 a.m. at 1335 Sixth Avenue, the address for the New York Hilton Midtown, according to the report. Mr. Thompson was taken to Mount Sinai West in critical condition.

Police officers are still searching for the gunman, who fled east on foot along Sixth Avenue, the report said. He was wearing a cream-colored jacket, a black face mask and a gray backpack.

The police believe Mr. Thompson was targeted in the attack, which happened during the company’s annual investor conference in New York City.

Mr. Thompson had arrived early to prepare, according to the people familiar with the investigation. The gunman apparently knew which door Mr. Thompson was going to enter and shot him several times from mere feet away, then fled. The gunman, the people said, ran, jumped on a bicycle and pedaled away.

Just after 9 a.m. on Wednesday, yellow caution tape closed off the section of West 54th Street just outside the hotel entrance. Inside, the morning continued as usual, with guests ordering coffee and arriving with luggage.

The only sign of trouble was a small group of police officers huddled in front of a check-in sign for the conference.

Mr. Thompson was promoted to chief executive of UnitedHealthcare in April 2021, heading one unit of the larger UnitedHealth Group. He lives in Minnesota.

This is a breaking news story and will be updated.
