none of the companies I'm deeply invested fukkin with me in the job market. I was watching a video how a guy worked at amazon since 2009-2012 ish and was able to retire in 10 years just based of stock base compensation. I am or was hoping to do the same with companies I believe that will pay stock base compensation too.

My former coworkers who went to this other company are in this boat. They got stock base compensation for a cyber sec company whos competitors are trading at 100 plus. Really wish I had also moved over. Sofi, hims, n ionq rejected my job app. Never heard back from SOFI.
I'm 35, if I can lead a company with good stock base comp. Work for 10 years n cash out id be grateful. Wish I understood these things very early on.
