Sold off most of my smaller holdings and a few more shares of Sofi.

Added more tsla, rgti, and intc.

Got a few grand waiting for pltr earnings monday.

Looking at Hood too. Almost pulled the trigger today, but I want to do more research.

Why RGTI? Thinking about getting back in by november 12 . I dipped out because it was so volatile. Although I can burn 1K.

It really wasnt a deep dive. But I choose them because they are making circuits and a cloud platform.

The other 2 companies I looked at add a slighty different focus.

Theres probably another reason, or 2 I had at the time.

Long shot, but I don't mind throwing 5-10% of my non retirement account money at it for now.

Been in three years in SOFI, in deep red, every stock I used to diversify my holdings surpass SOFI :mjlol:. Lots of opportunities lost because I'm balls deep. May shed some at the top.

Lol true... management is executing so I'm happy.
I can't sell SoFi. At this point it's just a long bet. Selling a stock shouldn't be something you do because you become impatient it didn't go up fast enough. Tesla languished for years before it suddenly skyrocketed before the first sock split. If the fundamentals of the company are solid there's no reason to sell and SoFi has been solid there for a while.

It's not something I'm actively buying anymore. If I have some left over money after I buy stocks like Nvidia and Nike I toss that money at SoFi but I'm not focused on making new purchases of it.

Robinhood will let you gamble on the presidential election. Put $100 on Harris.

Ex Palantir employee sued the govt about that and won.

Not to long ago either. Thats why everyone is just now hearing about it.

Dont remember the name of his app atm.

Kalshi (www.kalshi.com) is the first federally regulated exchange where you can trade on the outcome of events. We built Kalshi because we believe that people should be able to capitalize on what they know and have opinions on. We make this possible by expanding what people can trade on and allowing them trade in the domain of everyday knowledge.

And its not just a straight bet on this app.

You basically buy shares of a vote.

So, if you bet $100 that Harris will win, each $1 = 1 share. If the odds that Harris will win was at 45% when you purchased your shares, your earnings isnt just based on if she wins, or not.

If the odds move from 45% to 55% you can sell your shares for a 10% gain.

I seriously wouldn't put it past the pro-Trump folks to mass divest and crash the markets if they feel the election was stolen from Trump.

As the total portfolio value goes up these swings get more and more irritating to look at. Just last week it was $6K higher than than today. Trying to hit new milestones and things are going the wrong way.
