New $RKLB alert from Simplywall.St

New minor risk - Profitability
The company is currently unprofitable and not forecast to become profitable over the next year.
  • Trailing 12-month net loss: US$163m
  • Forecast net loss in 1 year: US$159m
This is considered a minor risk. Companies that are not profitable are more likely to be burning through cash and less likely to be well established. Ultimately, shareholders want to see a good return on their investment and that generally comes from sharing in the company's profits. Without profits, the company is under pressure to grow significantly while potentially having to reduce costs and possibly needing to take on debt or raise capital to remain afloat.

Currently, the following risks have been identified for the company:
Minor Risks
  • Currently unprofitable and not forecast to become profitable next year (US$159m net loss next year).
  • Shareholders have been diluted in the past year (3.0% increase in shares outstanding).
  • Significant insider selling over the past 3 months (US$400k sold).

And we move on:

WMT,NU, TGT report this week.

Home Depot, Walmart and target have the ability to move the market based on their earnings.

If they beat we’ll end the week strong. If they provide some weak guidance, prepare for turbulence. Remember the big banks said a few weeks back that the economy is healthy and more stable then we think.

Basically what recession :heh:

Im kinda hoping we go bearish.

Meta at 270 is :noah:

We don’t really have any real big catalyst to send the market up. I mean NVDA reports next week. But if NVDA isn’t a grand slam earnings wise the market will be dead until cpi then fomc which is September 19th

Consumers are pulling back on big ticket items.
While they beat, their guidance wasn’t strong so we maybe in for some turbulence.

NU this afternoon :win:

TGT and WMT will be reporting early morning, over the next two days their guidance will be interesting. If they report skepticism, strap up for a potential greater slide.

However the next big catalyst will still be how NVDA reports next week.

Target cuts profit forcast:

They say there’s challenges ahead. They’re trying focus on cheaper inventory.

They also realize inflation is kicking the consumers ass by taking up a bigger share of their discretionary budget.

The article also hints that student loans will be dark horse. :demonic:

One thing I did peep, they name dropped ulta which I don’t think has reported yet. They said UTLA is helping them driving significant revenue.

I really need to consider DCA into utla or some type of beauty stock. I wish there was an etf, because I hate going in on a singular stock.

No surprise UTLA’s stock is up 2% this morning
