I remember when Meta was under $100. When Palantir was like $7. I been so hyper focused on buying Google and Amazon I let some real money makers pass me buy that could have more than doubled my money. Meta did shake me but I never sold nor did I buy more and while my average cost is in the $190s I could have really lowered that. Palantir I just forgot about.

I was going heavy on Google and Amazon too.

But I ended up selling those off and moving to Palantir, Nvidia, and Twsla.

Google and Amazon are great buys, but they just wasn't moving at that time.

This announcement got mostly shat on yesterday, but I think this will be a lot bigger than people are expecting.

I’m not super interested to buy one, but the spacial computing aspect is a lot more attractive than what meta is doing. The two are entirely different

Not a chance and I bought the dip...

You ain't selling 3500 dollar goggles to the average consumer bruh...This is going double wood in terms of numbers...

That's more than 60 inch OLED bruh...and only ONE person can enjoy this...

Apple completely missed the mark on price and physical build...The secret to making AR work on a mass adoption scale is SUNGLASSES...Geek robocop underwater goggles ain't never selling to anybody that doesn't live with their mother, leaves the house and has a social life...

Yeah Google Glass was the closest to that in terms of form factor but I guess they never got the tech to work cause they didn’t really sell and discontinued it.

I think Apple Vision will eventually evolve to a more glass like form factor. Similar to computers — when those came out they were huge and costed a fortune…

But I guess it could be like the iPhone. It’s only gotten bigger and more expensive :patrice:

They need to do this like Samsungs Gear VR but with glasses instead of a phone...

Sunglasses for on the go use tethered with your phone and the full apple vision AR entertainment suite when you attach them to the visor...

That's the secret sauce IMO but you still gon have a pricing issue...You will not get mass adoption of this north of $1500...

The first Gen of products like these never are a smash with the ‘average consumer’.

iPhone came out in 2007 and I didn’t get one until 2010-11, that was my first smart phone. A lot of people I was in school with didn’t have smart phones at the time either.. ask me what they all have now.

I didn’t quite get it at first glance but I do see a fair amount of uses for it that I didn’t expect. I could see spacial computing being pretty big 3, 5, 10 years from now.

Anyone else skeptical of the market right now

It’s too easy.

Feels like a trap. I’m not comfortable with the recent gains. :hubie:

Last shoe to drop that I’m waiting for is a thread in tlr talking about the market. Then I know it’s time. :francis:

Will be trimming significantly on Friday, as CPI is on Tuesday and the FOMC is a couple days later.
