if it's sold off as private property, then i'm not sure what people expect. I recognize the evil that took place at these places, and there are some great historically preserved plantations where you can learn a lot and connect with the past, but for the others that have been torn down or been private property for so long, a slave cabin in the fields of a private home isn't going to be a place random people are going to be welcome to learn and explore.Airbnbs and garages? I actually sold all my gold coins and dumped the money back into eTrade 2 weeks ago. I got tired of them not making me as much money as I expected to when the market was going down, plus my gut feeling is that the markets are heading back up in the near future.

It's more of an inflation protection for me. And I'm about to get into making jewelry. Whatever happens with the dollar won't affect precious metals value.

the marketmakers learned a lot of tricks on how to create liquidity to temporarily satisfy short obligations. mostly through abuse of ETFs that hold the stock. i havent looked deeply into BBBY's ETFs, but they might be available for liquidity.
they also learned how to get rid of short obligations through swaps.
the gamma problem is a lot harder for them to solve. that is going to eventually overwhelm them if retail continues like this.
they might take away the buy button again. they already have some restrictions on certain strikes in revlon's options chain. BBBY may get similar restrictions or an outright "close only" condition if things get too hectic. im banking on that not happening again, though. we'll see.
