Nice.

It took me a minute to get my pies organized. I left them in 2021 though... I wanted to do covered calls against my shares.
I think of M1 as more you set it and forget it. Much of what I have in there are dividend stocks and boomer stocks like AT&T, Ford, Costco, and Intel and it's all on auto invest. I guess if you want to do anything at all with your stocks you're better off elsewhere.

Yeap. I was a fan initially though. WeBull (and even Robinhood) offers reoccurring buys just like M1 now. The difference is with Webull you can do covered calls and buy and sell at any time.

M1's real value is the pie system though. Fractional share purchases at certain percentages to balance a portfolio auto adjusting to keep everything in proportion. I'm not sure those others do that.

Either way M1 is great for stuff you plan to buy and hold for years. It makes it difficult to get out of but easy to buy more. A covered call isn't exactly long term investing because you could be forced to sell. I question if M1 would ever get into that. I view M1 as kinda having your own personal ETF.

I just got an email from M1 Finance saying I can freely move slices between pies. It's crazy this is just now becoming a feature after years.

about time. i saw the announcement and it's a web-based feature only but will get rolled out to iOS eventually. i like being able to buy fractional shares but with all of these stocks splitting i don't know if i should stick with it now now. i hope they get rid of the small trade window next.

B bands are so useful . Generally large blue chip stocks and indexes would hit 2standard deviation above or below and it starts to get choppy and reverse one way or the other.
