1 because I bought them from 2019 when I opened my first investment account outside of retirement accounts. Unfortunately for me I wasn't educated by my parents on the value of investing. Even my 401K is only 10 years old.

Jsut hold on. Appl go through a split on average about twice every dozen years.

And yeah only the educated really up on investing. I don’t even try to talk to my fam about the market anymore. It’s all about fast money to them. My ex was mad at me because I wouldn’t liquidate my tsla for a birthday party and other materialistic bullshyt. Whenever they going through something they bring it up, like I’m sitting on a treasure…I see how generational debt becomes the way it does

Lol, you asked who is holding stocks for 5+ years, not who held the perfect stock at the right time to have an outsized return. Even so, there are people in this thread with that story, @FabTrey posted one up yesterday and that’s just two years in on some of those lots

We’ll see in the am but so far I swung a msft 312C and it’s up 2% after hours at 316.. hopefully it can stay that way til open.


I caught mpc in a nice dip today and bought a options that expire 1 quarter 2022. Feel really good about that one

i hate when folks post 10 year outlooks. It’s jsut not realistic. Especially from a penny stock point of view… who in here is even holding a stock from 5 years ago…Elon was the epitome of a mad scientist a few years ago

I agree, it’s all just 20/20

But like others said I have a lot of almost at 5 years, I started investing on my own in 2017 but let’s be real, no regular person was buying Tesla 10 yrs ago, much less 10k on it

I can pull up multiple crypto plays that would wash that $1.8 million within the last 12 months

...and there are TSLA call options plays that could probably utterly destroy those in the same time period


Too bad I'm too scared to touch TSLA options anymore .
