Yeah in terms of market cap but I hate Reddit as a site.
I can’t stand the user base and the attitude the average user has. The coli can be negative but there’s good people here

I don’t know if it’s the next pump but I like the company.
I only bought into it because it got cratered and have low expectations for it. If it gets to 75-100 I’m out

This makes no sense Reddit has 430M active users and 100,000 different sub-reddit/communities. All types of people and topics discussed on the daily.

This site is nothing but an echo chamber of old nikkas and wannabe old nikkas constantly discussing the same topics

yeah, there's a lot of communities and I've seen black Reddit too. but almost every subreddit has this weird grade school energy of people trying to be on their best behavior to not get downvoted. then there's the weird rules each subreddit has and the downvote button.
I just can't vibe with them. I've tried before

i agree that reddit suck despite having a large number of users. everyone tries to be funny to get the top comment but their white humor is cringe, they're all too safe and the mods there are quick to delete comments.

According to posters here there’s a gang of “undercover” white posters here.

Some of the highest rep posters and mods here are openly white.

This site at one point had a white cofounder and the founder was a Trini-American, black Caribbean dude from Brooklyn. Now this site is an echo chamber for anti black immigrant rhetoric and diaspora wars on a West Indian man website that he pays to run the server.

Too many redundant Jay/Nas and Pac/Big related threads and mfs who cling on to whatever Tariq Nasheed and Kevin Samuels say

There’s a black Reddit and a black Twitter. Those are the modern forum spaces. 100,000 Reddit communities I’m sure there’s tons of black people and predominantly black Reddit communities if you look. Every possible topic and community is there.

uh, TLR had this same problem, people being on their best militant, pro-ADOS/hyon racist, misogynistic behavior for daps. Us only having daps has led to an even weirder energy than anything on Reddit. We’d benefit from having up and downvotes. Plus you can literally start a new sub for the same topic on Reddit if you hate the rules of one sub, it’s why freefolk was poppin while nikkas still using spoilers in 2021 for GOT discussions in the main GOT sub

Tlr has the same problem but the downvote button is the worst social media creation of all time.
It’s not used correctly it’s just used to not join the hive mind Reddit attitude that the other users have. You can say something positive related to the thread and you still get downvoted
Instead of fostering discussions it just is used to silence views that might be slightly different to the hive mind of the audience
Thecoli hides comments but rarely. The downvote button relys on the average redditor to silence discussion
You can start a new sub but you’re still getting that same Reddit audience that all fit in the same square.
as I’ve said before I tried posting and discussing on Reddit but I just don’t vibe with it personally. I still lurk for info but I don’t post on it because it’s too much of a headache.
