Jeremy is super corny but he actually buys and holds, walks through his thesis (will even revisit it with his viewers), and shows his portfolios which allows you to see his cost basis. -- At least he used to. I haven't watched him in a pretty long time.

All three of those things are not what you see from a lot of other YouTubers and FinTwit furus who have massive followings and will just front run some new stock before they tell their followers to buy. Basically just pumpers.

I'm not saying he did anything wrong but I see a lot of YouTubers making videos telling their audience this stock will 10x and selling access to their stock picks all the while saying stuff like this isn't financial advice. If they aren't selling financial advice what are they selling?

If I'm telling an audience to pay me money for stock picks that well turn into multi-baggers that aren't financial advice that's contradictory.

I've never seen Jeremy pump and dump. The picks he usually makes he holds and most of them are free. He does have a stock group that teaches people the mechanics of investing but I don't see him selling picks.
Ok now are you going to answer the question he posed in his post tho?

First I'd need to be shown a news organization that says subscribe to a Patreon and they'll give you exclusive access to every individual trade they make in real time and grant you full access to their portfolio holdings but all that info while being worth paying them money for isn't investment advice. Some guy on CNBC saying they're buying and believe in stock X isn't even close to that.

Best Investments Sites To Help You Invest Like a Pro

Influence is influence. Don't hate on Youtubers for helping people make money and then ignore investment sites doing the same shyt. Hell, where do you think the Youtubers are getting their picks from? Best believe they're tapped into these sites and relay what's being discussed to their audience.

Imagine investing your 401k in Crypto

pretty sure my coworker wish he could’ve in hindsight when I told him about it when it was $4k in late summer 2017…I only brought it up bcuz he was the computer resource specialist at the school so I figured he’d know about it…cac looked at me like I asked him for his social security and bank account # when I brought it up to him…never mentioned it again…a few months later when word got around that I was retiring, buddy looked sick talking about “oh, so how’s your bitcoin doing?” lol…at some point you either gotta believe in it or realize you don’t know much about it and be content backing off :yeshrug:

BTC is beyond battle-tested at this point…from less than $0.08 to approx. $60000 in a little more than a decade…those type of flippant remarks/notions are just simply outdated at this point…it’ll probably reach $100k during the next halvening and folks will still be looking at it as a “fad” lol

Also, since it's Coinbase, I'm assuming people will be able to diversify and put money in alt coins as well. Depending on how it's structured in terms of what projects people can invest in, people can get some ridiculous returns. And since it's a 401K, you set it and forget it, people going to look back and be like :whoo: at the amount of money they getting
