It's all about the squeeze. That's all anyone is talking about when it comes to amc and gme. Do people think it should be higher than 5 bucks? Yeah. Doesn't mean anyone thinks its a company to hold for retirement.
bro, there are definitely people in here arguing AMC is a great company to be in fundamentally, either from reopening or thinking about how much market share they have. one of them was in here just last week going back and forth about it.

I closed to buy a covered call yesterday morning when it got down down .09 and opened up a another before lunch for 1.34. That new position already up 32%. Should be able to close out next week for 90% profit. Once I get a hundred dollars profit I usually be ready to close out.
I’m going hard right now because I got quad witching on my side helping with theta time decay.

@Rickdogg44 Bruh got a question. I see the 17 call option for NIO is priced at 18.55. If I get in that position and immediately exercise, What are the drawback? It seems simple in my mind but I feel like I’m missing something.

I pay for 100 shares at $17 with the premium I paid and I shouldn’t incur no loss right?
You lose extrinsic value by exercising early.

People rarely exercise early. Dividend or arbitrage type situations are the reasons. That basically means you are paying 35.55 (17 + 18.55) for each share. It's at ~33 now... so you'd be down.

One person isn't enough to outweigh the amount of people who are buying for the squeeze though.

I just downloaded CoinBase, KuCoin, and TrustWallet last week (hopefully very similar to Algo Wallet?). I'm like a baby in this crypto thing. I didn't know about the heavy regulation in New York before I downloaded them. I'm being extra cautious right now so as to not end up accidentally sending money to some place where it can never be recovered from.

As for COIN, it's definitely on discount compared to how it was priced on the day that it IPO'ed. It may continue going lower though.
Kucoin has terrible customer service. I would advice against them.

he's not just one, there are a lot just like him. a lot of people thinking AMC is a long term hold because, movies...i've had this argument on multiple boards. there are a lot of folks in AMC thinking it's a reopening play and don't understand the price action is because the short, half of them aint even check AMC's stock price prior to 2020.
