:whew: Looks like it's safe to be in the market again. This thread grew by dozens of pages since I last checked it last week, not going to read through all that :ld:.

The other day I bought a bunch of COIN puts that I was able to sell this afternoon at a $7000 profit. Putting it all into AAPL calls:
AAPL Sep 17 '21 $145 Call

Basically, I'm using this as a bet that tech stocks will return to where they were at their height. I'll probably cash out just before the next quarter earnings, though.
What was the play strike and DTE? You did it before earnings too?

PS: Use PayPal with Coinbase to avoid any fukk shyt with your bank account.

Quick question, I did a search online and it stated that the crypto that I would buy on Coinbase with a PayPal linked account wouldn't be mine. I wouldn't technically own crypto purchased through PayPal? Is this facts? If so, wouldn't it just be better to link my bank account to CoinBase then?

I live in the USA btw.

That's if you're buying it on PayPal. If you buy crypto on PayPal, you can only buy more of it or sell it. You can't send it to a wallet or exchange.

On Coinbase, you would only be using PayPal as a means to use your FIAT currency to purchase crypto on Coinbase. I have both my bank account and PayPal linked. You can do the same and see which method you prefer tho

How the hell does this go from damn near $60K to $48K over Tesla not accepting payments? Who was actually planning on buying a Tesla with BTC anyway?

Because any hint of BTC not being "viable" sends people into panic. That's how volatile it still is. People thought that more institutions riding the wave would bring about stability but that hasn't happened yet.

I might be wrong but I think it had dropped a bit from 60 already. Rest of the move, people in it for short term, paper hands or people who assume they can sell and buy back later for cheaper. Similar to stocks that sell off on fud.

the more I get into btc, the more I realize it’s a smart hedge for at least a small amount of your portfolio.

whatever you can afford to invest, is best. Getting started is the key. Sticking with it is the next one, and it can be tough. Without knowing specifics, long term holds is what I recommend.

Serious I think was the user who posted a long beginners guide somewhere in this thread. Even reading through this thread is good. Go to last March, if you got time and are committed.
