Why would someone do this tho?

People with a crypto bag aren't rushing to convert to USD breh


They get gains and either put it in BTC or ETH or stake it and earn interest on it. Also depending if they have to move ETH around, the GAS fees are so high right now, that it'll cut into their gains.

So they would be looking at capital gains taxes on top of high fees to do what you're saying.
