I'm actually starting to feel really optimistic about the overall market for the next two years. It seems every time there has been a dip, we recover in a few weeks. I don't think we're anywhere near 1999 "bubble" levels yet.
I'm thinking of buying some VTI LEAP calls tomorrow to go with my SPY LEAPS.

Stock market at all time highs, housing market going through the roof.

But wages aren't rising.

IPOE gonna have a shytty merger price

I see ARK dumping a lot of LC and TREE...fingers crossed that they’re preparing to load up on SOFI once the merger goes thru...“long shot” but it might pump some life into it when it debuts...granted the “cathy-effect” hasn’t been hitting like that these last couple months...still loading up on it since it’s under $20

This is one stock I'm prepared to actually hold long term regardless of the short term price. I think in 5 years it's gonna be worth drastically more than it is today. I'm not gonna lie they need to drastically improve their investing platform but I use the company's services and I like them and I feel like they have a great CEO. If I'm wrong I'll just take the loss.

This is how you transfer from a taxable account to a tax advantaged account:
Sell the stock. Transfer the money. Buy the stock again.

Would be nice if you could do it another way but if it was in a taxable account and it appreciated you own taxes on it. I can't take an account that was worth $10K and grew to $100K and just roll it into a tax advantaged account and not pay taxes on the growth.

Yeah it would be nice to at least allow it up to the contribution max
