Anyone use think or swim? Is that just a trading/research app but you still need an account at TD?

It's the best imo. Best chart features out there plus ability to import scripts. Plenty of free scripts. If you want to learn how to chart and do technical analysis, it's the best.

I use thinkorswim. Yes, it’s a part of the TD Ameritrade platform. GREAT for research/charting, etc.

I agree with what was said about the problem with Gamestop stock being that it got on TV. It got too much exposure and complete amatures ran into the trade. The people on Reddit seem to think they can hold it down but they got swept up into a force greater than themselves. They can tell themselves to hold all day but they can't get the amatures that don't frequent their forum and they can't get the hedge funds that hopped onto the WSB side of the trade to do the same.

Their problem now is there are too many eyes on them. They can't make another move with out the news media being all over it. Had they played this out on their own perhaps the gains would have been more modest but many of them could have made out like bandits instead of bag holders.

This shyt been in motion for months. The real WSB crew has tons of GME under 30 - they can cash out on the crash and KIM.

But the late to the party types and the big YOLOers who bought hundreds of 200+ shares
