If you want to get into real investments instead of just meme stocks hedge funds are liquidating good stocks to fuel their war with wallstreetbets and good companies are coming down in valuation.

Facebook in the $250s is a steal. Granted there is risk with the moves Apple is making against them but Facebook is a better buy than AMC.

Just checked them out based on this post, looks like they got room to go up over 300. So if I sink a g in, I can reasonably look forward to doubling my investment at the least.

Blue chip stocks like Apple, FB, Tesla, Amazon etc retain their value pretty well unless its something catastrophic. they are basically more profitable savings funds that have the ability to explode at some point.

Keep in mind Apple is doing privacy settings in iOS 14 that let users opt out of data tracking from apps. It will impact Facebook in some way. The Facebook app tracks everything you do on a phone and Facebook uses that data for ads. Facebook also faces being broken up by the US government although shareholders would end up getting the pieces of that company. Instagram as a stand alone company might be better than Facebook as Facebook is more for boomers and Instagram is for younger users.

If several major clearing houses and brokerages became insolvent at the same time do you believe the stock market would react positively to that? Sometimes the ex-president used to tweet stuff that caused chaos. The stock market overreacts to everything. It would have triggered pandemonium.

They could have just halted trading while they figured it out right? Or is that only ok when one kind of investor is being fukked?
