Everyone counting on retail needs to take a pause. Retail has ADHD and they will forget about unity and start eating themselves once GME drops. After that they’re all going to be scared to try it again.
you'd be surprised this has been a play since last summer:manny:

You're the CEO of Robinhood. Do you not do what Vlad did? Do you let those squeezes drive your company to insolvency? I was upset about it yesterday but I mean he did what he had to do. If Robinhood and other brokers go insolvent the stock market would likely collapse.

you'd be surprised this has been a play since last summer:manny:

Did 90% of these people get in last summer?

90% of these people got in within the last week including every single person in this thread.

The real autists on WSB that have been in before this month will all eat well.

All these retail people will be left holding the bag. Thats the game.

I'm not taking issue with the play. It was a genius move by WSB and DPV. If you made or are making money on GME right now, props to you!

BUT. The stock is straight mania mode right now. The risk/reward isn't worth it unless you like gambling. Maybe it gets to 1k, which will get you a 3x. But you need to be sitting by your computer 24/7 and make sure you sell at that top. If you don't, you're going to be eating an 80% loss if you bought in the past two weeks (which is most of retail). an 80% loss needs a 400% increase to get right. Once GME drops off, its not coming back. Doesn't matter if youre looking at the pump and dump angle or if you're looking at the short squeeze angle. At the end of either pump, its going to drop something serious. So now youre counting on retail traders, who have no idea how to look at patterns or read a chart, will suddenly all recognize the top and all sell off at the top. I dont see that happening. Next week or the week after, theres going to be endless stories of people losing their shirt, their retirement funds, etc etc.
