This morning was some blatant collusion from the brokers. Locked folks out of selling GME or AMC. Everyone's shyt was locked up. I was in EXPR so I was good but people lost a lot of potential earnings in those options due to broker fukkery.

Shyt really needs to be addressed .

Chamath makes good points about some of the flaws of the system and the biases towards hedge funds, but he is a bit reckless with his social media. He is fanning the flames of irrationality a la Elon Musk.

He is making a completely speculative play that he decided to enter based on what his twitter followers suggested. That is some Portnoy-esque shyt. From there, he is posting it on social media with the conscious/unconscious knowledge that the tail is going to wag the dog and his publishing of the position almost guarantees that retail traders go crazy and price goes higher.

When it is time to exit his position, he likely isn't going to throw a poll up on Twitter or make an announcement to the world.

I'm simply stating: Regardless of the reasoning, AMC was due to come back up. AMC isn't GME.

Also TSLA is a pump so what's your point?

Lastly that's not 100% true. AMC was rising before Elon said anything. Obviously it spiked a lot more because of the shout out but it doesn't change the fact that AMC was going to rise.

who said it was going to die? lots of unprofitable and/or low margin businesses stick around for years. AMC stock been falling for 4 years prior to 2020, yet somehow people were hoping to pick up a 5-7 stock that would hit $20+ when it couldn't even do that in the chart busting year of 2019? miss me with this shyt, AMC would've been lucky to even sniff $15 again in 2022 if it weren't for this pump, waiting 2 yrs for a potential 2x in a declining industry isn't a good look, and everyone who said not to bet on AMC was on point
