I was thinking about GME. I wouldn't have bought AMC either due to COVID.

and this is where the debate might get ugly bcuz ppl will try to cite “fundamental” reasons to get into AMC and make it seem like it’s a calculated risk but it all boils down to how much “leg” elon’s discord post will have and WSB’s commitment to this particular stock...I’m not gonna act like I’m above the gamble but my comfort level isn’t cool with getting in AMC at $20 on a whim

AMC was going to go up anyway. China is the KING of pumps. In fact, Elon promoting it on WSB could be politics and not a random occurrence. In any case, you'll be watching from the sidelines while everyone eats. AMC is going to go up and stay up.

lol I hear you...I put that in quotes bcuz I see it on stocktwits (not talking about here) where ppl try to act like they did all this analysis and shyt and the reality is they’re going off hype like everyone else...AMC did 4-5x since elon made his post...for me I feel like I’d be being greedy and playing with fire to expect more from it...not “hating” or saying it can’t happen...just that I’m not comfortable throwing my money in the pot and hoping for that
