Bought 800 shares @ $7
Wrote 8 August 16 $8.50 Calls
Bought 8 January $7 Puts

If I get called next week, I'll collect $350 and probably keep my puts. If not called, I'll just keep writing covered calls til January.

to be honest I like both those companies. I'd have to check again but I think Verizon is trading near all time highs. I'll have to get back to you and look at them a little closer.

ask @Asantehene about Verizon I think he was doing some research on them

My opinion is Verizon has a smaller upside than Visa so I would go with Visa. The only thing that would hold me back from pulling the trigger is an upcoming market correction that could put credit on short supply, which I do see as likely happening. Realistically though, if you stay away from momentum stocks during a correction, you should be good either way and neither V or VZ are momos right now.

when the hell did Asos crash

I knew it was gonna happen within the next couple years but sheeeeeeeesh...down 50% this year???

Another stock I see that happening too is Kors...but its growth and margins are immense. Gonna have to wait on that one

hmmmm....down 12% since that post. Might be time for it to go up?

The market plummeted this afternoon. No long is eating today

- oil fell - bunch of energy stocks down
- target had shytty earnings
- weak demand from China
- geopolitical bullshyt

I think investors were just looking for a place to put some cash on the sidelines and this has been it. I still think this is a favorable environment for equities.

Groupon getting pushed up before the bell and already into after hours in anticipation of earnings.

edit: as I typed that people started dumping it and went from $7.10 to $6.02 in a second
