Anyone seriously trade options here, 30k enough to start with:patrice:?
Please do NOT jump straight into options with 30k. If anything read / watch about ThetaGang and Wheel Strategy first.

If you feeling frisky tho... Could end up paying that 30k Wall Street tuition

We've seen a lot of "loss porn" about options, so let me counteract that with a little "gain porn".

In the past month I've turned about $10,000 in TSLA options into $45,700.
Not bad for a stock that I've been calling overpriced the whole time :ehh:.

I started with one $650 call that I bought for about $5000, and I rolled that plus another $5000 into five $850 calls:

I'll probably cash out when we get around $920 and buy back one single cheap call. Hope I have the discipline to leave this casino.

Definitely enough to get started. Some suggestions: keep your options budget to 10-20% of your portfolio, and make sure to have a solid foundation of stocks / ETFs to balance the risk. Buying weekly out of the money options is usually a recipe for disaster, so try to mainly buy options with reasonable strike prices that expire in a few months to minimize time decay (these will cost more but they pay off way more frequently). Try to buy when volatility is low and not after huge moves in the stock price.

Thanks to whomever put me up on ZOM / Zomedica. Up abt 30%

Does anyone have any other good penny stocks?

Also, is it safe to have my coinbase account verified with my ID? Do I really need to do That?

Thanks in advance.

ZOM is up.

Guess I'll be holding onto it for a while.

Apparently webull is hating on my trailing stop loss trade. Was gonna put one on zom but it only allows for day instead of gtc. :francis:

Set one anyways but I'll have to find another way since its only good for day.

Buying weekly is risky period at the moment unless you know a breakout is imminent. I’ve been goin long.

built up my pier nicely that way: the best long play is NIO 2022 80 call. Only cost me $2000up 1000dollar so far and still got 18 months left
