whats the longest you've ever held onto a stock?

oh, i have shyt going way back (all of 4 years when i started investing in lol). i hold things worth holding, but i'm more so talking about starting new positions in things where you know it'll take off in 2-4 years. it's hard to hold those since there are so many plays to 2-3x your money in a quarter, or stocks that are good long holds that are 2x in a year, vs 2-5. feels like leaving good investments on the table for fast money

Bad for short term people are panic selling . Good if your long and want cheap shares. This creating financial stability for the company. Nothing about there fundamental change. I wish I didnt go all in today would be loading up. I think in 2 or 3 weeks we should be back to those levels. Maybe next week if conference goes well new buys will come in. Just hold don't sell.

Just saw its public offering. Rather it be a direct offering. More shorts and dilution gonna happen also but still super bullish I just feel it's a game changer

adding to this - please believe there is stuff i'm in long term - companies that are both of today and the future - but there are some speculative long bets i'm taking off the table for today's casino

Tesla running is directly related to strong deliveries and Democrats owning all branches of government, meaning easier to expand the EV sector..

It's not FOMO as much as it's an understanding of a takeover that's still in the early stages.

Returns may slow some but even if they did, steady returns can still happen.
