I hear you, but I only have like 15 shares of sq. I'd rather parlay that into LMND, so that I can buy triple the shares. Plus I still have exposure to sq through arkf.

I care more about building a position. Sure i could DCA square, but I could also just DCA ARKF, while throwing more at LMND.

I'm down 40% but I scaled out vast majority of my shares yesterday. I think it will shoot back up when they release er. Its a low float. The good thing is its direct and closes on Xmas eve. They have ton of money already so I'm surprised by this. I might add, but probably wont.

i know we clown those of us holding 20+ securities, but shyt, there's just too many plays to cover. 2 years ago when i made my 5G plays, i bought into some IOT plays as that stands to be one of the biggest benefactors of 5G. 5G plays grew, but IOT saw slow gains, I was way too early on those, sold out of them earlier this year, but am looking to get back in in the first half of next year.

connected home (GOOG via Nest, HON, GE)...if Samsung and Bosch were available, them as well
health condition monitoring (LVGO, DXCM)
smart grid technology (Oracle via Opower, IBM, ENPH)
fleet management - Samsara (IOT, there's a biotech company with this name also) is private but keep tabs on it the next 24 months for a potential IPO, this could be a big IOT stock winner

recap of all the applications of IOT and companies that are closely tied to the space either directly or through one of their lines of business

I’ve been waiting for PACB to “pull back” since it was $9

one of my biggest regrets to date...if you’re looking to be in it long-term just might as well jump in now...I have an awful habit of letting my “pride” get in the way and thinking “well why would I buy it at $24 when I didn’t buy it at $8?” but the answer is simple bcuz it’s only going to go higher ultimately

i have the opposite issue, buy into a stock, it goes down, trades sideways for months, i convince myself to say instead of buying more, then when it starts moving again i'm all over buying more
