I see the house passed some marijuana bill to decriminalize it. Gonna be tough to pass the senate but hopeful. Got some subpenny stocks like STWC at 4500 shares that hopefully get some momentum with this and if more legislation in the industry gets made so I can flip it to better stocks.

TSLA officially scrapping 600

Looking to free like 5k in my account after flipping some mutual funds, so hoping for a dip over the weekend but even if not I'm good with adding like 5 more shares. I got FDCPX (select computers) and FSELX (semiconductors) for those with Fidelity, that have gotten me over 45% gains so far and look to be keeping the momentum going so far. Was looking into those today and would rather hold my high performers and sell my low performers like my 15% gainers even if those 2 have 6k each and would get me more than the 2 I sold that look to be something called allocation and equity and not growth or tech.

Hopefully the momentum keeps going for all of us. This has been a special and unique year. I moved over just under 48k to Fidelity from my old IRA company with Walgreens that wasn't as good with access to a wide variety of funds or individual stocks to invest in plus the interface and research available wasn't as good. That was around memorial day and my account just passed over 70k. Big thanks to the 2 above mentioned funds, Tesla and ARKW at 45% and ARKK at 37%. Hoping these Tesla shares I'm looking to get and everything else can get me to 75k by end of year but thats a longshot I think. And I don't even make any figs.

nah just 299 share with my fidelity. and 100 shares with my m1. i got in early with my m1. but for my fidelity i just added yesterday. my avg for fidelity is high at $45.
i need it to crash like a mofo

dealers have decided to part ways with Cadillac, rather than invest in costly upgrades required to sell electric cars, according to people familiar with the plans, indicating some retailers are skeptical about pivoting to battery-powered vehicles.

GM recently gave Cadillac dealers a choice: Accept a buyout offer to exit from the brand or spend roughly $200,000 on dealership upgrades -- including charging stations and repair tools -- to get their stores ready to sell electric vehicles, these people said.

The buyout offers ranged from around $300,000 to more than $1 million, the people familiar with the effort added. About 17% of Cadillac's 880 U.S. dealerships agreed to take the offer to end their franchise agreements for the luxury brand, these people said.

Most dealers who accepted the buyout also own one or more of GM's other brands -- Chevrolet, Buick and GMC -- and sell only a handful of Cadillacs a month, the people familiar with the effort said.

The skepticism from some Cadillac dealers underscores that, even as investors bid up the value of electric vehicles, questions persist about interest among consumers and the retailers who serve them.

Tesla Inc. ( TSLA ) has become an electric-vehicle juggernaut by selling directly to customers, without franchise dealers, a model several startups intend to follow. Traditional auto makers, on the other hand, are tasked with overlaying their electric-car plans on dealer networks that today make their money selling gasoline-powered vehicles.






Tesla so innovative that they don't even need the middleman to get their products out to consumers. Do their own shipping.

Damn my guy you're having a good year. Are you still thinking about buying a home? At this rate I almost feel like you might wanna forego that and staying the market.

not all of that is this year, moreso the last couple years. my speed at gains is much improved though this year as i've been alot more active the last 4-6 months. planning on buying a home in a year. i have like 60k left on my school loans but am debt free otherwise. will spend the next year saving alot of money and investing more heavily. buying a house sooner won't stop me from investing anyway. planning on doing a zero down doctor loan.

Didn't know they had their own insurance and with the technological capabilities of the vehicles and being able to monitor and save someone's driving style and history, could definitely be a game changer. Imagine in the future, you're driving and you see cars out on the road. All of a sudden you see like a light from one of the cars, can either do a green and red or two other colors. The light can be on the back by the license plate or wherever but let's say it's green or red. You are driving and see that red light on and automatically know, this motherfukker got some driving infractions under his belt, let me steer clear of him.
