IMO, invest in a target year fund or just FXAIX for 401K. Save your riskier bets for your Roth IRA's and/or taxable accounts.

I ain’t put shyt into Roth cuz I rather they take my taxes out when I take my shyt out later on. Rather I not pay taxes on it now although I split in half what goes into my Roth and what stays into my 401k. But thinking of saying fukk the Roth and save those taxes now.

Roth IRA not Roth 401K. Traditional 401K is fine/preferred, but you should try to do a Roth IRA with after-tax money as the money will grow tax-free.

for my 401k, I couldn’t find any ark options. Only found the s&p fund and put my whole shyt into that. Am I doing something wrong or some 401k give you different options depending on your job?
401k’s have a limited number of mutual funds to choose from, and the selections of funds varies job to job. ARK funds are ETF’s

Ok so I’m not at the level you all are but I’m contemplating changing my M1 pie. I want all in on ARK. But I still want dividends and some kind of play on reits. Do these percentages make any logical sense?

Also I’m aware that ARKK consists of items from all of the other ARK investments so I’m just doubling down on some. I’m really sold on Fintech like all in but I’m a fan of the next generation internet fund also. And with the genomic stuff I know that will be big long term in the future. But I could wait for the genome stock. Since I rate fintec and next generation internet first.

I got a pie of ark with a 20% split on all 5. All depends on what you comfortable with. Good thing about m1 is you can put in any amount and split it how you want. Nobody knows which ark may increase more in five, ten, or twenty years. Long as you investing, you already on the right path. Split into multiple pies if you feel that's better so you can have a higher percentage on a certain fund but it all depends on how much you put in consistently to make it grow.
