man this ant IPO being suspended is not a good look for my BABA/JD positions this morning... hope it gets resolved soon.

this one of the reasons I’m Leary of playing with Chinese stocks. They’re government is heavy handed and will swoop down without notice. It’s not like you’ll hear rumors since they don’t play that.

this happened in crypto but I ended up being able to eat off ppl being scared off by the chinese govt scare tactics bcuz the key was for me to read and figure out which companies were their “golden boys” so to speak...I did a lot of reading around and it became clear that some chinese projects were in full compliance with china’s bullshyt crypto laws and were “untouchable” as they were never mentioned among the group of projects their gov’t was clamping down on...granted that was crypto but I would imagine there are definitely some chinese stocks that folks could invest in that would fit that mold as well...ie they’re pretty much gonna be golden even when china is on their bullshyt

Which projects? I remember when they outlawed btc and the price crashed soon after.
