Why wait until after the election? Isn't it best to make plays based on information. What we do know is with the halted stimulus talks the rising corona cases the market is sliding. Biden is looking like he might win and if he does the market might drop with it. So what plays would be best to make to capitalize on the market tanking? And if you don't think Biden will win why not hedge on Trump to win the election at +188 (15/8)

Most analysts at this point believe the market would prefer a Democrat trifecta

Its never thAt simple
I remember when trump won futures tanked massivelt...only to end the trading day green

theres no rhyme or reason to this shyt

i was calling for a dip due to no stimulus all month, yet nancy pelosi would spew bs and rhe market would rise anyways. Why? Who knows

anybody with a brain knew there was no stimulus deal coming pre election

At the end of the day we are minnows playing with the sharks that are algos and institutions who will ultimately take the markets where they want to.

Pinterest and PACB helping stop some of the bleeding.
Still holding the HYLN bag tho, hoping the USPS deal comes soon so I can exit this scam of a company

you mean Workhorse?
You right, had to double check. Apparently I hopped off the workhorse train in late Sept. after the potential deal didn't go through. Still made $2/share but after some quick research the company seems underwhelming with some safety issues. USPS contract might've exposed them butI was planning to make a nice profit quick, not a long hold.
Bought into the Hyliion hype but it's been steadily going down since I bought in...more than 30% so far. Hopefully the Q3 report gives a boost when it comes out in a couple weeks

Uncertain grounds
Buy the dip breh it’s not that complicated.

if everyone is selling then that’s when you should be buying. And when everyone is buying you need to sell some shares.

Next green day I'm flying out of many positions :cape:

I liquidated my brokerage so im taking a tax hit on that regardless. Everything else is in my roth shielded so fukk it

What's your cost basis on HYLN?
Just under $32 :sadcam:
Luckily I only have a few shares. Didn't get to build a position before it started tanking, which in hindsight worked for the best.
Fukk cost averaging and all that, I'm just looking for a smooth exit rn
