Yeah I heard of HERO awhile back. I like that cost basis...

So I'll keep an eye on it....

I looking over JD's balance sheet again early today, and they completely smashed it last quarter:

I really think a biden presidency will send this stock into the 200+ trajectory in no time.

I do feel like selling some stuff ahead of what I see as a likely election dip. If Tesla has a good run up from traders pre-earnings, I may. Biden should be good for Tesla but still see red at start of November. Want to see what happens to market right after trump loses.

Would sell stuff in my tax sheltered accounts.

Aight noob question which is best platform to start investing in stocks? Vanguard, M1 finance,TDameritrade, Charles Scwaub? I’m getting thinking of getting rid of my Robinhood and Webull accounts because I want to start somewhere legit and have customer service. I’m a long term trader and want to invest in ETFs and mutual funds. Y’all are making crazy returns from this market and want to get in so in the next downturn when stocks are cheap to get into a buying frenzy.

M1 as your long term account, pick the stocks and etf’s you want to invest in long term, allocate what percent of your portfolio you want them to be, and do an auto deposit each month in M1 to keep trickling money in. Then for your more active investing any major brokerage is fine, most people here have td, fidelity, Schwab or etrade

Pelosi said that she's giving it 48 hours to get a stimulus done with Mnucin or it's not happening before election. I can't tell you if there will be a sell off because people are expecting the stimulus to get done at some point but don't be surprised to see a dip.. I'm not counting on this getting done within the 48 hour timeframe.

Just keep this in mind while making moves this week.

I'm still using Robin Hood. Since they boast over 3 million users, I know that I'm not the only one in The Boiler Room still using it.

When I started this stock app I had M1 Finance. It was fine, but I didn't like visually how it said stuff like "You own 1.63 shares, you own 2.07 shares, etc.". It led me to believe that I owned more of a company than I actually did. Then I got Robin Hood, and despite some crashes due to the sheer traffic on the app during moments like when BYND, everything has been fine.

When I initially got these 2 apps, the advantage was that trades were free (while everyone else charged). Robin Hood's popularity caused the other players in the field to also start waiving their fees.

So, if I do end up switching, just to clarify: ETrade, TD Ameritrade, and Fidelity are all no fee for trading, correct? Not sure if I would pay the fee to switch my positions to a new trading platform, or if I would just sell everything and re-buy the companies I wanna buy in the new app. Only companies I have any significant overall percentage increase in are MCD, INO, and SAVE. Every other stock I got varying degrees of loss, or just minor gains.

I'm looking to start this week with investing, I know nothing about it but need to learn it.

Starting small with maybe 500 and will work my way up. Gonna read the first page but I don't know what app to use and my family wants me to do mutual funds.

Gonna get some coffee and give this a few hours tonight.
