If you want something with a serious long term potential than look up planet 13. it's very nice

The No. 1 reason millennials are struggling to save for retirement—and it's not debt

I think I did the math the other day, if I include my 401k, I save / reinvest 80% of my income and live off 20%
I mean, even with roommates, housing is expensive in most cities millennials are going to. I had roommates when I moved to NYC and the cheapest I ever paid on rent was 1200. Granted, I could have lived very high up in Harlem or the Bronx and cut that down by 200 or so but it is, what it is. I wasn’t about that 45 minute to an hour commute life. I wanted to walk to work and use the subway as little as possible.

But the point is, having roommates isn’t some magic trick. It’s common sense shyt that everyone does or else no young professionals would be able to live in any of the major metro areas. The fact is, even with roommates you’re not paying less than a 1000 a month on rent in any of the cities new grads are flocking to outside of the south, and your entry level salary is probably between 40 to 60,000. Your rent is already at 1/3 of your after tax salary. Factor in groceries, transportation, loans and health benefits and you just gave up anywhere between 45 to 60 percent of your income. The problem is that the wages where people want to work haven’t risen in lockstep with the cost of living.

If I didn’t make six figures, I would be very jaded at law school debt. But I’ll be out of it by mid 30s, and with this degree I’ll still be making six figures so it’ll be worth it in the end. But it’s not lost on me that those gs every month could be going elsewhere.
