i've been averaging into BABA and JD leaps/shares heavily over the past couple weeks. the fundamentals of these companies and the growth potential (esp with china's growing middle class and economic recovery from covid) look great to me. US-china tensions got to be the only thing holding them back, i'm betting that with a biden win these companies will see a nice bump. those tensions will always exist but biden will definitely be less overtly aggressive and probably less likely to issue more tariffs. probably the riskiest bet in my portfolio, depends a lot on whether this orange fukk successfully steals the election or not.

It's looking increasingly likely that it will be sideline watching until after the election. Trump is trying to blame the dems for tanking the market but in reality it's because of all this talk about the election being fukked up and him not wanting to answer if there will be a peaceful transition.. etc. Plus, they still haven't gotten stimulus out there and with them forcing a new justice through so quickly after RBG's death, there is A LOT of bad blood....

the stimulus is the only thing that matters right now. adding lack of stimulus to bidens impending win exacerbates short term sell off. hopefully itll bounce back shortly after a blue wave with talks of a generous stimulus. until then
