but I didn't buy more. it was one of my biggest L. i bought it at $18 :wow:
I picked up on them from Financial Education. I been nibbling on shares with my spare money after major purchases. I've only got up to 29 shares and it broke well above my cost basis today which is like $11. Probably ain't worth keeping with so little invested. I think I'll let earnings play out and if it falls again buy more and if it keeps going up just dump it.

Wells Fargo has an 8% starting dividend yield. It's at 52 week lows.
dividend question, what happens if you buy like 10 grand of shyt and hold it for 3 days? would you get a quarterly dividend, or is it based on the amount of time you held it?

i know ive gotten dividends from stocks i had sold already like a month before

If you bought it yesterday yeah. Today is the ex-dividend date meaning you had to be holding the shares as of opening today to get the payment.
