On Monday, for example, Boeing was awarded a huge $1.55 billion contract to produce 18 P-8A Poseidon maritime surveillance aircraft for the U.S. Navy and for the militaries of South Korea and New Zealand (and a smaller $114 million award for work on U.S. Army helicopters as well). Tuesday saw Boeing win yet another award, worth $39 million, for work on KC-135 refueling tankers.

Boeing is a retirement type stock. type of stock you keep for a decade and cash out.

Buffet has put alot of money in delta for a reason. truthfully, I been watching delta for a while but haven't bought yet cuz i believe it can go way lower. same reason i ain't pulled the trigger on expedia yet cuz 55 - 60 is high when aint nobody travelling. im coming to find out alot of the market is artificial bullshyt.

I read up on it and he was buying since last week when it was at 45 and now it’s low 20’s so yea. This whole shyt seems like a long shot but who knows man. If delta goes under 20, I’m locking in tomorrow. Later on down the road might go Starbucks or Tesla or Disney which always been my number 1 pick.

Nah.. what I think some are missing those who are in the "wait it out" camp is that some individual stocks are following the DOW all the way down and others are holding up better like the tech companies.

So it's hard to say they haven't already seen bottom.

You don't consider Airbus competition?

The Chinese govt also heavily supporting their own domestic manufacturer. Sales in China (huge market for Boeing) will only decline as their airlines buy homegrown products. They're talking about China pushing these planes in Russia and Africa as well.

They rest on their laurels like some other major American companies and it may not be gucci for long

Airbus been growing their market share, and plane deliveries yearly as of late.

And thanks to the recent 737Max fukkup, Airbus delivered twice as much planes last year, and has way more on order.

Boeing ain't going away, but to act like it will all be a breeze is dangerous.
