yes but you can lose serious money too. Penny stocks you need to get in and get the fukk out quickly, I don't do them but others here have and have made a lot.

It seems you really gotta be in the “In crowd” too that got an idea which are gonna make you that money. It’s not for everyone and those that know seem to have there own circle of people to make that money off them penny stocks.

I'm starting out. Truth be told I see yall posts about stocks at like $100+ and I'm not quite there yet (I'm starting out at $25 for reference). I dont want to blow my load too quick knowing I'm just a beginner. I've followed almost all of the suggestions everyone mentioned here, and trying to find a good few to actually invest in.

Not sure if you guys have ever done this on here, but maybe give suggestions for price points?

Example:

If you put in $500... these are the 2-3 you should invest in.
If you put in $50.... these 2-3 are where you start at.

I've seen a lot of pharmaceutical and oil ones mentioned, but outside of Robinhood and their metrics, I need some more resources. Yahoo Finance any good?

Damn that sounds a little risky.
it's extremely risky. And when you say Penny socks I think you're referring to OTC/pink sheets.

These are the different kind of guidelines not NASDAQ or NYSE stocks.

And beware of these companies that say sign up and get free stock pics as they will give you the stock picks on a Monday morning at 8:00 or 9:00 and the stocks usually open up at a +100% percentage and drop as you are buying.

I started my own thread in 6 certs section where we try to advise each other way ahead of time and by that I mean at least a day or two, if not more. Nothing's guaranteed especially in this yo-yo market but bio-techs are always the most volatile individual stocks to invest and you can win a lot or lose a lot ... just like that

You try to get a stock at like .17 throw a stack on and and hope it gets to like .54 and then sell before it drops again

I’m gonna have to look Into it a little since I’ve never invested into the stock before. I’m guessing it’s good to know the ins and outs before even considering.

Learn the charts. Learn what the lines and the candles mean then open a paper trading account on etrade or TDtrade

I can't straight up tell you what to do but if it's me and I have $50 and I feel like throwing it at something (not an existing position in my portfolio) I'd look at a trusted struggling company. Look at AMC or Ford as examples, we've been talking about them here.

AMC might go completely out of business, in that case you are out fifty bucks but if they survive and you put in fifty bucks at $3/share maybe they get back to $6 and you make a hundred.

But that's the thing $50 isn't going to do much unless you hit on a random stock trading for pennies. $500 you can do more with obviously. You gotta spend more to get more with these companies.

So say you had PLAY at $5 a share and then sold it when it got back to $17. That's $1700, you made $1200.

to all of you starting out i suggest you use the next few weeks to study stock terms, financial statements, chart reading, find several stocks that'll survive this that you want to invest in and stack your money.

don't rush to jump in this right now.

and don't use robinhood!

But then let's say you spent $500 on Amazon years ago when it was trading at $50/share during the recession. Now it's trading at $1900. You would be at $19,000

It's not easy to predict a stock will take off like that, I'm giving you the good feel stories. There's a lot more bad stories out there than good. You gotta do your research.

In fact, you probably shouldn't enter the game without knowing the basics. I'm not an expert myself at all... I read and read everyday.
