Scenario:
I have some money to invest from a signing bonus for a new job. Would you recommend:
a) researching and picking individual stocks
Or
b) ETFs/index funds

I don’t know much about stocks and I figure learning and researching will take a while (which I don’t mind and I have the time, but seems like the time to buy is right now and I’ll miss opportunities while the market is in the shytter)

Why y’all so bullish on PLAY? Even in better times - was that a company set for growth? Seems like a relic of suburban sprawl, but that could be my city living blinders

it's usually around $30 last 5 years and has hit over $50.. I got in at $5 a share last week. It's going to make money regardless.
