Anyone else copped some inverse ETFs? I bought a few shares of TVIX and DXD to hedge against the market. It's pretty much an easy way to short the market. Working pretty good so far even though I don't plan on keeping them for long.

Dap + Rep.. why didn't i see this post this morning bruh, i lost $107 this month and could've make it back today and then some off that TVIX :mjcry:

You very late now. Be careful bro

thanks...ultimately I decided against it...looks like I missed the pump from when it was $2.xx in late dec. to $14.xx in march...but before that it pretty much seemed dormant for quite some time...it might rise some more again if they help in coming up w/ a vaccine but that seems like I’m hoping/asking for a best case scenario...don’t want to put myself in that situation and end up stuck...you caught a nice wave tho...no pun intended

when i get back in should i just do an ETF or buy individually? I realize the safest bet is the former long term but I like picking and choosing

:mjlol: ETF's are damn near pointless IMO. You get greater returns copping individually, and the dividends be super low yield. Never saw the point in an ETF, people only get them to feel "safer" because ETF usually have the who's who of the SP 500 as their PORT.
