I'm invested in FXIAX and it basically follows the S&P 500. It's made me the best returns on all my stocks but it's only 35% or so of my portfolio now.

Must be nice to be balling to the point that 100K is an afterthought to you.

I bought my shares of FXIAX on Jan 14th and they've grown by 8.28% since then. Had you invested that 100K back then it'd be worth more than 108K now. Of course that's unrealized gains though.

Martin Shkreli posted this on his blog in August:
"The next five or ten years of biopharma investing is basically all about gene therapy. After AVXS, who knows what is possible. Abeona (ABEO), Axovant (AXON), Audentes (BOLD), BioMarin (BMRN), Oxford, PTC (PTCT), Spark (ONCE), UniQure (QURE), Rocket (RCKT), Sangamo (SGMO), RGNX, Sarepta (SRPT), Solid (SLDB), Ultragenyx (RARE), Voyager (VYGR) are all players. My guess is an equal-weighted or capitalization-weighted index of the above would outperform pretty much any other index. "

Spark just got bought for a 120% premium.

He's also very bullish on GBT.

I'd have to look deeper into it but there's some compelling names there.

alright brehs, just opened my fidelity account. gonna say fukk real estate for a while and just throw it in the market, but i have no idea what im doing :heh:

so the plan was just to buy fidelity's SP500 account, fxaix. should i try to time this, or does it not really matter? im wondering if i should wait for a dip, or just say fukk it and buy it all now because in the long term it doesnt really matter

Wait to see what happens in March.

They have a huge debt to pay if the SP isn't $360+. I dont remember how much exactly, but I wanna say it's like $900M.

are you kinda referring to what i was asking, with this?
