I'm not in MCIG anymore. Sold it a long time ago. Was jumping in and out. Lost money most times I traded it. It was nearly $1 at one point

Short answer is no, probably not a good long term hold. The CEO was shady from what I remember. Lots of fluff PR. Not sure if he's still with the company. This is a good flipper stock, it will go on runs like this and you can potentially make nice money swing trading. But you can lose money on it too. I'm not that good at reading charts, but technical plays are probably you're best bet here. Be cautious

shyt changed breh, i'm up 300% in the last 3 weeks

Their basic argument is that the new tax bill will allow apple to bring back a lot of cash they have parked overseas.

Here's part of it:

Ranked potential Apple M&A targets.

Interesting. Why'd they even bother including Hulu in there:russ:

I dont know. They've also added a new note saying that this chart was made before the Disney-Fox thing went through. So scratch them off the list.

Regardless, i dont ever recall Apple making a big splash like this. Yeah they'll spend a couple billion on tech companies, but spending upwards of what? $100B?? Even if they do repatriate all their money when they get a tax holiday that'd be way out of character.

Shorting the vix has been a great trade for years now.

yes, but i'm hedging myself by playing diagnoal

for example i play the Jan 129 (monthly) and Jan 135 (this week) spread..paid 5.71...currently it's 7.60 - so it's a 20% return.
the 135 is now in the money, but the 129 is well in the money. i'll probably close the trade today due to the huge move in the SVXY, but i can also be patient and see if the 135 comes down more

i put this trade on 3 weeks ago, 2 weeks prior i had another...i'm basically playing dips in the SVXY

Apparently Intel has a major bug with their CPUs. Stock down 2% pre market. CEO dumped as much of their stock as he legally could a couple weeks ago.

Looks like this will be big for AMD.

I'm in both intel and amd...dump intel, buy amd is the move?

How actively traded are these contracts? I hate losing valuables dollars to wide spreads.

you're playing time and volatility the spreads don't matter as much, especially since you're short on one side (meaning the spread tyically helps you and offsets any wide spreadd on the buy side).

however, typically i don't experience crazy wide spreads in the svxy contracts
