How the hell do they settle these bitcoin contracts? Every exchange i look at has a different cash value for bitcoin.

Edit: i see now they do an average of a few exchanges. And the ticker for bitcoin futures is XBT (on the CBOE)

"Man who sold his house to make a big bet on bitcoin" -CNBC a few minutes ago.

Yeah, this isnt a bubble. :ld:
There is a video on Facebook with over a million views about this teenage dropout who invested heavily in bitcoin after his teachers told him he will never amount to nothing and should work @ McDonalds lol.

The rags to riches stories will definitely lure in the new people even though the chances of the stock going up a furthere 154345% (or whatever the actual amount is) is unlikely. People new to trading/investing aren't aware of the risks involved and likely haven't seen how fast the markets can turn against you, but hopefully they don't stop investing/trading after they inevitably get burned.

How do you know this?

Im sure there are many websites that will tell you the volume and open interest in reference to these certain options being traded in a day. I was looking at daily trading activity notes from the CBOE. Typically for this type of information you will need a service that provides you feeds with book depth (many services often refer to this as level 2).
