I'm watching this Halls of Fame show on FSN.

I always liked this dude. Easily my favorite college coach of all-time next to Stoops, of course. Just listening to him talk and tell stories is great...even at his advnaced age he stills seems sharp as a tack.

Seems like he always kept a pretty clean program despite times when alot of other big programs were getting sanctioned/bans etc. I could be wrong though...

I might be, he probably had to play under the table to keep up......but I've never heard any former players say anything bad about him either.

College Football isn't necessarily about winning "ships" its about Bowls, Wins, Sending Players to the NFL, maintaining a top-tier Top 10 type program .

Until they have a playoff system, nobody cares or knows who has won titles

Nah, with the talent they had, Miami falling after 92/93 season, they should've won at least 3 ships in the 90's.

Those FSU teams were fukking stacked, especially on defense. Once Miami got in trouble, they were getting most of the talent from that area, and also raiding talent from other ACC territories. Those FSU teams were too good to only win 2 titles
