If Manny is still prime like you bytch nikkas spew, he'll mop the floor with Sergio bum ass......Thats if Manny has some prime left which I doubt:smugbiden:

If Margarito can KO Sergio why not Manny, Manny did retire a near 175 pound Margarito......Hands down style vs nikkas who throw a million punches equals food, do I need to hold a class to school you nikkas

Margarito beat a young 147lb Sergio....not 160 prime Sergio like the one Paul Williams fought:ufdup:

Come on man.... If he agrees to drop a few lbs to fight a MUCH smaller opponent cool.. If he doesn't HE DOESN'T. Nobody is forcing Sergio to do shyt.. from Pac barely making 147 to fighting a guy at 160. Its not unreasonable to ask for the fight to be at 155-156 when you're fighting someone that small in comparison. pac will still be at a huge disadvantage either way

then like Jello says..if that fight comes off make it non title..then it can be catchweight to whatever...but the titles should be won from the champ in their traditional weight class...from the min to the absolute max of that weight range 154.1 to 160...no further restriction else the title doesnt have to be on the line...thats just my opinion :manny:

No, you shouldn't ask the #1 RING ranked Middleweight Champion to come in at anything under the 160 limit in order to put HIS title on the line.

If you can't make the weight, then why try to drain him down to defend HIS title. Just have a non title match with him.

4-5 lbs is a big difference while trying to weigh in. If Sergio could make 155, he would've fought Canelo already at 155.

Most fighters drain down to make a certain weight.. a catchweight is no different.. If Sergio agrees that he can healthily move down a few pounds without sacrificing too much, I dont see what the problem is.

Don't wanna see a weight drained Martinez fighting Manny. He'd prolly get his ass kicked. No catchweight.

Hell naw Floyd:camby:

Sergio cant effectively fight weighing in at 150. He aint weighed in at that amount since 2003:scusthov:

Sergio also said he would take a 20-80 split in favor of Mayweather too.....obviously, he was desperate for the Mayweather payday:russ:

Funny thing though, Maidana didnt even get a 20-80 split with Floyd on this last fight :dead:

Floyd got 32 mill out of a 33.5 mill pot guarantee available which was a 95-5 split in favor of Mayweather. A 80-20 split would've been with Floyd getting 26.8 mill and Sergio getting 6.7 mill....which would be the the most ANY fighter has gotten as an upfront guarantee against Floyd ever with Floyd being the "A side"

95/5 split wtf:mindblown: kind of deal is that? I'm not a big boxing guy so someone school me on this. How much would fighters guy payed as the main event on a regular title fight.

95/5 just seems like disrespectful shyt.

There is no "set" guideline in boxing. Typically, you and your opponent sit down with your promoter (or manager) and come to an agreement on the purse split. Usually there's a number available to be guaranteed upfront (In Floyd vs Maidana case, it was 33.5 million to split between the 2 fighters. Floyd took 32 mill guaranteed and Maidana got 1.5 guaranteed)
