I'm starting to see Dunn letting Chalky twist in the wind. The Dr is one of the best villains I've seen. I love the articulate, intellectual villains. The dialogue in this episode was superb. Some of the best exchanges in the series since the era of Darmondy.

Chalky: I heard he had some doings in Newark. Go ask out there

DR: It would be a waste of time.

Chalky: You're wasting it now


The reason why I think the Dr belittles Chalky is because he lied and puts up a false image of a man in control. Nucky doesn't lie but tries to amend the situation instead of ignoring it like Chalky does.

Dr: this man is your friend?

Chalky: what's wrong with that?!?

Dr: nothing is wrong if you see nothing wrong in it

Man... I just about threw Chalky in the bushes after last nights episode. The Doc comes strong with the ether.

The J Edgar Hoover intro was dope. Even though I think the actor doesn't convey the look of Hoover. I think the FBI officially starts in 1930. But the scene was great. That undercover agent will be a problem.

I hope they don't make Dr. Narcisse Nucky's enemy.... They probably will but that means he's gonna die like many of Nuck's adversaries. I also hope they don't make him into weird shyt like last season's Gyp Rosetti who also came with the fire in his intro but was fukked in the head.
