What Chalky gonna do now!? I don't see how he can get out of this unless he miraculously hooks up with Capone or something.

:wow:

You think Torrio would've done a hit like that so aimlessly?, nah that hit was done by Bugs Moran, from the O Banion southside crew, and Al Capone's most feared rival.. Torrio is gonna step down from his position and pass it over to Al

really hoped it was gonna be Van Alden though

Following up on what happened to Capone in last night's ep, here's what the real Torrio's wiki page says...and i wonder how Boardwalk will make it happen.

On Saturday, January 24, 1925, in retaliation for the O'Banion assassination, North Siders Hymie Weiss, Vincent Drucci, and Bugs Moranattacked Torrio as he was returning to his apartment at 7106 South Clyde Avenue from a shopping trip with Anna, his wife. A hail of gunfire from Weiss and Moran greeted Torrio's car, shattering its glass. Torrio was struck in the jaw, lungs, groin, legs, and abdomen. Moran attempted to deliver the coup de grâce into Torrio's skull, but ran out of ammunition. Drucci signaled that it was time to go, and the three North Siders left the scene. The severely wounded Torrio survived.

Torrio, having undergone emergency surgery, recovered slowly from the assassination attempt. Capone had men guarding Torrio around the clock to make sure his beloved mentor was safe. Throughout this entire ordeal, Torrio, observing the gangland principle of "omertà" (total silence), never mentioned the names of his assailants. After his release from the hospital, Torrio served a year in jail for Prohibition violations. Throughout his reign as boss of the Chicago mob, Torrio had witnessed the massive increase in violence within organized crime. The near-death experience frightened him badly, and combined with his prison sentence and the increasing difficulty in his work, it persuaded Torrio to retire while he was still alive.

In late 1925 Torrio moved to Italy, where he no longer dealt directly in mob business, with his wife and mother. He gave total control of the Outfit to Capone, saying as he left "It's all yours Al. Me? I'm quitting'. It's Europe for me."

So, i wonder if they'll make the season end with this sorta happening to Torrio & then handing it all over to Capone in the season finale. Then next season the Capone regime begins. :ooh:

Chalky has now cheated death twice:whew: That's a hell of a feat for a black character, especially on a show like Boardwalk:ohlawd: Dr. Narcisse is the worst kind of negro, peddling his ideaology and drugs to the community:huhldup: Was that Torrio that authorized Pone spot to get gunned up and clapped quick:lawd: Sanctimonious Margaret getting her insides trade-in with Rothstein:youngsabo: Nucky, in due time you will learn about a snitch call Eli Thompson:pachaha: The GAWD Garvey black leadership had Hoover and them watching and plotting:wow:

Brehs...

I mean...:mindblown:

Like...:banderas:

Whew... That episode basically said, "Anyone who is not watching Boardwalk Empire is missing out on LIFE".

I was on pins and needles the whole time just praying my man Chalky wasn't going to go out like that. I was telling my wife.. "If Chalky dies right now, fukk this show, I ain't watching ANYMORE."

But Chalky... How do all of you just turn your back like that after a hit? You should have "Okay..I'm reloaded" that whole building...make sure Narcisse was dead.

When Nucky first had the meeting with Masseria & Naarcisse and he agreed to look the other way with regards to Chalky... I wanted to spit onto my screen.

Yall still can't be tight about the WIlliam Thompson arc can yall? The dude is coming into his own... brehs... HE saved Chalky... give him some respect now. He's actually physically starting to look like Jimmy alittle to me.

Funny thing is... At this point, Eli should hit Knox w/ the shotty to the back now... your son is in deep, the fukk are you saving him from now?

I can't wait till next episode...:ahh:

It was Bugs Moran, not Torrio, he would never allow that to happen in his own club where his own men are working also. Bugs is the only guy to be just like Al not give a damn and shoot up the block. Torrio is not impulsive like that.

I brought that up a few pages back. Definitely see that happening to end the season.
